REGULATIONS
1. Fundamental Rules and Conduct
Participation in the event requires respectful behavior towards other participants, volunteers, organizers, partners, authorities, and the local population. Any form of cheating or unsportsmanlike conduct is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, leaving the official course, taking shortcuts, using prohibited substances or unfair assistance, or transferring a race bib to another person. Controls may be carried out at various points along the course. Participants must respect the environment. Waste must be disposed of only in the bins provided at the start, finish, and refreshment stations. Throwing waste along the course is prohibited and may result in disqualification. Participants are encouraged to use public transport, carpooling, or bicycles to travel to and from the event where possible. All participants must comply with traffic regulations throughout the event and must follow instructions given by the police, course marshals, and event staff. Participants do not automatically have priority when crossing public roads.

2. Participation Conditions and Registration
Participation is open to persons who meet the age and health requirements defined by the organizer. By registering, participants confirm that they are in good physical condition and medically fit to participate in the event. Registration must be completed using full and accurate personal information, including correct contact details. Participants confirm that all information provided is true and complete. The organizer reserves the right to cancel any registration containing false or incomplete information and to exclude the participant from the event. In such cases, the registration fee will not be refunded.

3. Race Bibs and Timekeeping
Participation is only permitted with an official race bib provided by the organizer. The race bib is personal, non-transferable, and must be worn visibly on the front of the body throughout the event. It may not be altered, covered, or modified, especially regarding sponsor logos.
Timekeeping is carried out exclusively using the official timing system provided by the organizer (chip or integrated timing device). Without a valid race bib and timing device, no time will be recorded and the participant will not be included in the results. Participants must pass all timing mats and control points. Missing a control point will result in disqualification. Emergency contact information must be completed on the back of the race bib.

4. Course, Time Limits, and Withdrawal
Participants must follow the official marked course in its entirety. Leaving the course or taking shortcuts is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Time limits or cut-off times may be established for safety reasons. Participants exceeding these limits may be removed from the event and may be required to use transport provided by the organizer to return to the finish area. Withdrawal from the event, except in case of injury, must be reported at an official control point or refreshment station. In case of injury or medical emergency, the nearest course marshal or control point must be informed immediately so that assistance can be arranged.

5. Disqualification
Disqualification may occur in particular in the following cases:
-
Participation without an official race bib
-
Race bib not worn visibly or altered
-
Missing timing mats or control points

6. Changes and Cancellation
The organizer reserves the right to modify the course, schedule, or event organization if necessary for safety reasons, weather conditions, official requirements, or other circumstances beyond the organizer’s control. If the event must be cancelled due to force majeure, official orders, safety reasons, or circumstances beyond the organizer’s control, participants are not entitled to a refund of the registration fee or any compensation.

7. Liability
Participation is at the participant’s own risk. The organizer accepts no liability for accidents, injuries, health issues, theft, loss of personal belongings, or any other damages occurring before, during, or after the event, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct by the organizer. Minors may only participate under the full responsibility of their legal guardians. No refund will be granted in case of non-participation.

8. Complaints and Protests
Complaints must be submitted within the deadlines specified by the organizer, either on the day of the event for immediate issues or within a specified period after the event for result-related complaints. Complaints will be reviewed by a jury appointed by the organizer. The jury’s decisions are final.

9. Data Protection (GDPR)
Personal data collected during registration is necessary for the organization and execution of the event and will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Participants have the right to access, correct, and, where applicable, request deletion of their personal data in accordance with legal provisions. By registering, participants agree that their email address may be used for event-related communication and for information about similar events organized by the organizer. Participants may unsubscribe from such communications at any time.
