REGULATIONS

FUNDAMENTAL RULES:

Respect for others - Respect for oneself and for others does not allow any form of cheating (disrespect of the course, use of doping substances etc.). Checks will be carried out at several points along the course. Participants must also respect the volunteers, the organisation and the partners who organise or help to organise the race for the sake of it. Finally, respect for the local population who host this event should not be forgotten.

Respect the environment - Each participant is asked to pay particular attention to respecting the environment and to use the bins provided at the start, finish and refreshment points. It is obviously forbidden to throw paper and other waste on the course. In case of non-respect of the environment, the organisation reserves the right to disqualify the disrespectful participant.

​

It is strongly advised to use public transport and carpooling to get around before and after the race.

​

Respect the rules of the road - The rules of the road must be scrupulously respected throughout the course. Participants must obey the instructions of the police officers who ensure their safety.

​

 

BIB NUMBERS:

Only runners with an ING Route du Vin 2023 half marathon bib number will be allowed to start the half marathon.

​

Bib numbers are personal and non-transferable.

​

Bib numbers must be worn visibly on the chest so that the number and the advertising can be seen in full.

​

Runners without a bib number or runners wearing their bib number on their back will not be allowed to start.

​

Please do not forget to write the necessary information on the back of your Bib to help us as soon as possible in case of emergency.

​

 

TIMING:

The timing will be done by means of a chip integrated in the bib number.

​

The bib number with integrated chip will be included in your start documents.

​

You may not use a personal chip. Without a bib number/chip, there will be no timing and no classification.

​

It is absolutely necessary to pass the mats provided for this purpose (at the start and at the finish).

​

A checkpoint will be held at the turnaround point.

​

Failure to pass the control points will result in the systematic disqualification of the runner.

​

​

TIME LIMIT:

Runners must run within 2h45 minutes. Last official timing: 13h00.

 

​

CHANGES TO THE COURSE OR TIME LIMITS:

In case of bad weather conditions, the race organizer reserves the right to modify the course and/or extend the time limits.

​

In the case of a storm, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the races. In this case participants are not entitled to compensation.

​

​

DISQUALIFICATION:

Our race is governed by the guidelines of the FLA and the IAAF.

​

The criteria for disqualification include

​

- starting without a bib number

​

-making the sponsor's logos on the number illegible, covering or removing them

​

-failure to time the passages

​

-exceeding the time limit

​

-leaving the race route or taking short cuts

​

-Not reaching the age limit given, Half Marathon (18 years), 10 Km (16 years), 5 Km (12 years)

​

-Running with a baby pram, bicycle or similar...

​

 

CLAIMS:

Complaints must be made by 4 p.m. on the day of the race.

​

Complaints concerning the classification must be submitted at the latest one week after the race by e-mail: contact@routeduvin.lu

​

 

RESPONSIBILITY:

Each runner participates under his own responsibility. The organizer declines all responsibility in case of accident, illness, theft or any other incident, before, during and after the race.

​

Underage children participate under the exclusive responsibility of their parents!

​

No refund of registration fees in case of non-participation.

​

 

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION:

The organisation team strives to organise the half marathon in an environmentally friendly way. Please help us to avoid waste.

​

Please use the bins provided for you! Yellow bins for plastic bottles are available.

​

Please use these Valorlux bins only for plastic waste!

​

 

IMAGE RIGHTS:

By participating in the ING Route du Vin, each participant expressly authorises UrbanTrail de Luxembourg a.s.b.l. and any other company working for the organiser to use or have used or to reproduce or have reproduced his name, his image, his voice and his sporting performance with a view to any direct or derivative use of the event, on any medium, throughout the world, by all means known or unknown to date, and for the entire duration of the protection currently granted to these direct or derivative uses by the legislative or regulatory provisions, the judicial and/or arbitration decisions of any country as well as by current or future international conventions, including for any extensions that may be made to this duration.

 

 

CANCELATION: 

If, in the event of force majeure beyond the control of the organiser (e.g. by decision of the authorities or for safety reasons), the organiser is obliged to cancel the ING Route du Vin, the participant is not entitled to any compensation or reimbursement of the registration fee and his or her registration is automatically postponed to the next edition.

BUSINESS RUN:

1. Only corporate teams can participate in the Business Run.

​

2. The number of athletes that can be registered per team is unlimited. The registered athletes must be employees of the company in question.

​

3. For the team classification, the times of the 3 best athletes per company will be added together.

​

4. A separate team classification will be established for women and men.

​

Mixed teams will be ranked with the men's teams.

​

5. The teams with the best times according to the above provisions will be declared winners of the Business Run.

​

In the event of a tie, the time achieved by the 3rd athlete in the team will be decisive.

​

 

RGPD:

The information you provide is necessary for your participation in the ING Route du Vin (registration).
